The Path of Grief Recovery

By Alexa Keating

There are so many events humans grieve for, some intensely personal and others that touch many; none are as profound as the death of a loved one. The very word indicates a final ending; goodbye, forever. Until this event has touched your life it is nearly impossible to understand how many places in our lives it changes. When it has, it is impossible to forget how far-reaching a single event can be.
Initially it is a gaping, weeping wound, raw and unbearably painful. If the passage of time is healing we are left with a large scar we are always profoundly aware of. Something important has concluded and we are left with no real idea how to begin again. There is no question that we cannot return to what was and even some guilt if we imagine a new tomorrow without the pain. The void is as real as the pain. Holding on to what was causes the pain, liking tearing away the scar on a wound that is trying to heal.

Establishing a new normal is a deeply personal challenge. When you a…

Taking A Positive Pursuit Toward Your Desires

By Reeny Carvotta Barron

Your pursuit towards your desires encourages you towards your own achievement. This drives you toward greater satisfaction in your life lays a new blueprint for more positive experiences.
Do you have a strategy for staying healthy? For staying passionate? For living some part of your dream every day? What does that look like for you? What could it look like if you let it?We're taught not to be too self-important, not to be conceited or think too highly of yourself. Women particularly are programmed to be hard on themselves and judgmental. We're taught that how you look is more important than what you think. You're taught to put the needs of others before our own.

Whatever you believe intellectually, it can be hard to overcome these stereotypes and break out into what is yours to do and feel good about it. To feel confident and purposeful. That said, it's an 'inside job' one you must do yourself. When in pursuit towards your desires begin wi…

How to Stay Positive When You're Unemployed

By Ruth C Ashton

1) Keep a gratitude journal

When you're faced with the fear of not being able to support yourself, or potentially your family, it's easy to get caught up in looking at what you don't have: you don't have an income, you don't have quality food, you can't pay the bills and you're drinking lemonade instead of champagne.
It's entirely understandable, but lethal, to focus on what you are without. You'll feel like a failure, which will prevent you from selling yourself as a winner on application forms and in interviews. You can spin this.
A wealth of psychological research shows that gratitude and happiness go hand in hand. Billionaire Oprah Winfrey has famously kept a gratitude journal since she was young. It's a simple, but transformational concept.
At the end of every day, you write down what happened to make you thankful. Did somebody hold a door open for you? Was your bill a little less expensive than you anticipated? Did your child d…

Are You Going Forward, Backward or Just Stuck in a Rabbit Hole?

By Reeny Carvotta Barron

I'm just stuck in a rut! Just can't get out of this rabbit hole!
As far as we've come, we have unique challenges to face.
Even when you have access to a plethora of information and training out there, you are still asking...
'Why' isn't it working and 'Why' is it so hard'!
Outside of being great mult-taskers, a spouse, mother, partner, and friend so many of women live in a lack mentality, seeking more fulfillment particularly in finances.
This mentality keeps YOU from realizing your full potential.
It keeps us from really showing up and sharing our gifts, talents and passions with the world.
How can you, when the voice in your head is telling you that you can't, you should, shouldn't, isn't good enough, isn't ready yet, isn't fully realized?
These beliefs keep you from getting the results we want.

What is the rabbit hole? If we think of lack we get lack. This in itself holds you back.
Worse, leads to depression; it…

Goal Setting: A Quick Guide

By Hussein Taleb

Let's talk about goal setting; how you go about setting Purposeful goals, and making sure those goals actually get achieved.
How do you make goals work not only for New Year's time, but throughout the whole year? How do you make them actually changing your life, transforming your life for the better?
Personally, I've struggled with goals for a long time. That's because they seem simple. They seem obvious; you need to go in there and start to look into what actually makes goals work so that you can set proper, powerful goals to achieve your Purpose.
If you're like me, then you have big dreams for your life. You know you're capable of so much more. What that means is that you have some sort of dream. You have some sort of vision.

What your career could be like, how your business might be growing, what your health might be like, how your lifestyle is like. All of those areas in your life, to achieve big things in those areas, you need to have some goal…

3 Keys to Create a Life That You Love

By Dr. Shauntel Peak-Jimenez, Ph.D

We all deserve to live a life that we absolutely LOVE! And it is possible! Too many people feel like they are stuck in a life that is not fulfilling. I have been there. And that can cause feelings of unhappiness and discouragement. But I have good news for you. You can create a life that you love, whatever that means for you. The three keys that are discussed in this article are definitely not the only three things you can do to create a life that you love, but they are three keys that can help you to jump-start the process!

1. The first thing you need to do is believe that you can create a life that you love:

If you don't believe it then the chance of it happening is going to be very slim. That is because what you believe in you are more likely to take action toward. And that is also because you are in a better position to manifest your desires when your belief system is in alignment with your desires. It is extremely hard to manifest the life you …

Stop Living By the Rules of Other People

By Dr. Shauntel Peak-Jimenez

At one point or another many of us have either cared about what other people thought about us, have been a people pleaser, or have allowed naysayers to block the path to us moving forward. I totally get it. But what I don't get is why some people continue that way of living to the point that they are not even living the life they desire to live, because they are living the life that others desire for them to live. There is nothing wrong with taking some advice from others, especially when it is done out of love and concern, but don't allow people to put you in a box. Who has time for that? Life is so precious and so sacred, and at the same time so short that we can't afford to waste any of it living within the framework of the opinions of others. Guess what? People are always going to have something to say. So if they are going to talk you might as well be living a life that makes you happy, right?

Too many times people allow the fire for their d…
